WALL OF HONOR

The American Veteran — Forever a symbol of heroism, sacrifice, loyalty, and freedom.

The Lakewood City Schools and Lakewood Rangers Education Foundation are proud to present the Wall of Honor, a permanent, interactive installation in the lobby of the Civic Auditorium at Lakewood High School, dedicated on November 14, 2024 to honor the brave alumni and staff members who have served in the United States Armed Forces. This special space stands as a lasting tribute to their courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to our country.

Designed to educate, inspire, and reflect, the installation invites students, staff, and visitors to explore personal stories, historical artifacts, and treasured memorabilia donated by members of our community. Through photos, letters, uniforms, medals, and interactive digital displays, the exhibit brings history to life—fostering a deeper appreciation for the human stories behind military service.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the veterans and families who generously contributed personal items and memories to make this tribute possible. Your stories are the heart of this installation, and your willingness to share them ensures that future generations will remember and honor your legacy.

We will continue to add names, photos, and service information to the Wall of Honor on a rolling basis. If you or anyone you know attended or was employed by the Lakewood City Schools and served in any United States Armed Forces branch, please submit information HERE.
